Hey everyone! Question about ultra viewer. I'm ashamed to admit that one of those scammers got me to download it. I caught on after a little while. He was prenteding to be from PayPal shortly after I had opened a dispute. Ended up trying to get me to put a Google play card. He was pretty angry with me when I made it clear I caught on, do they usually stop once you say you know it's a scam? He did not receive any passwords or money. Just my email and name. I immediately changed every password and added extra security measures and also logged out of previous sessions. I also obviously uninstalled ultraviewer. How can I be sure it is gone? I scanned the computer using Malwarebytes and it came back clean. Does Malwarebytes get rid of it? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I have been trying to find a solution to remote access my computer at home to my computer at work. I have tried several programs, including Ultraviewer, but none of them work on my work computer. I tried calling Cox to make sure that they weren't blocking access to the Internet, but they are not. I have also tried installing Teamviewer on my work computer, but it is not compatible with my Win7 PC.
I need to be able to access my computers on a different network. My home desktop is Mac Pro OS X 10.7.3 and my home network is cabled with an Apple Airport Extreme. I have connected the Airport to my TV and used a HDMI cable to connect my TV to my desktop's display port, but I can't get any video to come through. The Mac's display port is the only port that it will work with. I found a video that shows what I have done, but it doesn't work. The video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwGkv9D-0eA. I'm not sure if I need to set something in OSX, or if I need to do something in Ultraviewer. 827ec27edc
